My Health Manager is a thorough personal health manager with multiple areas for entering information. Options are available for communicating with doctors and pharmacies through My Health Manager. Appointments may be made for Kaiser Permanente facilities on site as well.

My Medical is an iPhone/iPod touch app for personal medical information. The $2.99 price tag is appealing and the app is newly adapted for the iPad for $2.99 as well.

myMediconnect (formerly PassportMD) is a service of Mediconnect Global with several options that utilize the global services. The video demo is well done and explains the PHR service very well. This application syncs with Microsoft HealthVault.

There are no outstanding features and no section for child-focused medical information. Parents who want the best tool for keeping track of their kids’ health have to look for a solution somewhere else.

myOptumHealth’s PHR is very easy to navigate. Entering the required information is pretty much straightforward and not confusing at all. The best part is that it’s FREE. The company gives everyone the chance to organize their medical records without costing them a single penny. The helpful tools and articles available in the website are also a plus.

My Personal DataSafe allows users to better control access to their personal information. The encryption that comes standard with the program is the same type used by financial institutions.
