iPHER is a small, portable USB device (the size of a credit card) containing software for storing and maintaining medical data. No Internet connection necessary for use. Data is encrypted on the device. Large organization orders may add custom logos or names.

Keas has changed from a free PHR to a wellness “game” for employers to use to help employees to improve healthy habits. It uses games and challenges to motivate groups within a company to work together in a social/gaming environment to facilitate wellness.

KIS Medical Records Editor’s Rating:

KARE Information Services (KIS) provides a medical record retrieval service. The company securely stores medical history information for users. Requests for medical file retrieval are included in the annual fee and there is no limit. A video explains the process, but does not show specific forms. KIS acts as the connection between doctors so that they all can see a user’s entire medical record.

Lifeclinic.com provides tools to find dealers to buy biometric equipment, maintain secure personal health records, and research general health information. Information is provided through Sentry Health Monitors.

LifeOnKey (LOK) provides a Total Health Planner which provides tools for creating a health profile for personal health record management. LOK provides specialized plans for diabetics, girls and women, and pregnant women and special features to enhance site use. Data is safe and securely stored.

The Lifespan Key is a USB-based personal health record tool that offers multiple plans with varying levels of service. Comprehensive services are offered for those who can afford them. USBs are password protected and HIPAA compliant. The USB device is said to be compatible with 99% of doctor’s offices.
