MyVitalData

Pros: MyVitalData is an electronic personal health record management tool. The membership card directs emergency responders to view content before treating in crisis situations, allowing for more efficient care with less risk of problems.

Cons: Membership prices range from $25-$95 for one to three year contracts. There is no free trial option to use software before purchase. Membership is annual and cannot be canceled. When the commitment expires, if a user does not renew, the account will become inactive.

The Bottomline: With no free trial, no screen shots, no cancelation policy, and no way to preview the system, MyVitalData may be a pricey risk.

The MyVitalData ID card may be printed out after enrollment. This card contains information for healthcare professionals to access the account in the event of an emergency.

Health Information
The information contained in the health record includes name, address, phone, SSN, contacts, medications, conditions, family medical history, and lab test records. Images may be added. Data limit is 10MB. More storage space may be purchased if needed.

Security
Each member is issued a PIN number for authorized users. Emergency responders are allowed to view files only after being authenticated.
