MedNotice
Pros: This is a free medical document hosting service
with one free document space for an Advance Directive.
Cons: This is a very confusing site to use. Signup requires
PIN and password. The site also doesn’t explain the pricing policy beyond
the one free document prior to signup. Once one file is uploaded, the user
learns that the application does not yet have the ability to offer more
space at this time, but when they do, the application will be fee based.
The Bottomline: There are plenty of PHRs out there that
allow document uploads for free or as a part of the package. There is no
need for a specific product just to store ONE file with no ability to add
more or date for expansion.
