Google Health
Pros: Google Health is an easy-to-use online personal
health record tool. Google Health allows users to upload health related
information in the form of image files, scanned documents as well as standard
digital reports. Information can be printed or shared. The biggest positive
to this service is the cost: Free to anyone with a free Google account.
Cons: There is a lack of customer service for Google Health.
The service is free, so the site is not as aesthetically pleasing as some
other PHRs. Some functions for file uploads and sharing are no longer offered.
The Bottomline: Google Health is a PHR that allows users
to upload everything from medication lists to scanned images. The service
is free-of-charge and extremely easy to use.
