EMRy STICK
Pros: TheEMRy STICK personal health record system stores
all data on a USB drive. Trial is available via download, but data will
not be saved unless EMRy STICK is purchased.
Cons: This product is quite pricey at $49.95 (price includes
a lanyard to attach to it). Information is not backed up online.
The Bottomline: The one-time fee for the USB drive tops
those PHRs that charge monthly or annual fees, but is still an expense that
may be too high for some users. Without backup, if the device is lost, user
will have to begin a new PHR.
