Dr. I-Net
Pros: Dr. I-Net is an online personal health record tool
that is completed by both the user and by a health professional. The service
is free to consumers.
Cons: According to the information, medical forms, lab
results, and other chart information must be completed by the user’s doctor’s
office. Users may not update any information in those sections reserved
for heathcare professional input. After further study, it appears that this
site is unprofessional and may even be a scam.
The Bottomline: This website is cluttered with links and
advertisements. It indicates that much of the information must be completed
by a doctor, but it is not obvious how this is accomplished. In fact, during
review, those sections were accessed and able to be completed. This site
does not appear to be a trustworthy PHR and is not recommended.

Summary:
Dr.I-Net is an online personal health
record with limited and questionable functionality. During review, a warning
about potential safety issues for the site was issued and several popup
ads appeared. The unprofessional appearance of the site raises concerns
that this PHR is not safe and may be designed for some other purpose.

Features:
____________________________________________________________
Family History: The questions in this section are all
yes or no with a drop down menu for relative. Some of the wording seems
wrong such as “nervous breakdown” and the word “bowel” is misspelled.
Sections: There are several sections that may appear in
other PHRs, but this asks for Driver’s License ID and Social Security Number.
It asks more than once if the user has HIV or AIDS.
