CheckUp: The Complete Personal Health Manager

Pros: CheckUp offers a 30-day, free trial offer so that users may try the interface prior to purchase. Several features are available, including a graphing feature to track weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, or other progress.

Cons: Checkup requires users to download the program onto your personal computer rather than supporting and maintaining information securely online. After the 30 day trial, $29.95 USD covers unlimited technical support and software updates for CheckUp 1.0. Apparently, support is discontinued when a new version is released. Currently, CheckUp is not compatible with Mac OS. Data is not backed up online. You cannot view the app until you download.

The Bottomline:
CheckUp is a comprehensive PHR tool for use on a personal computer. Data is not backed up online. The cost is noted; however, the price of ongoing updates is unclear. It would be worth clarifying the cost of updates prior to use, though this version seems very comprehensive.
