CareEngine
CareEngine is the “cutting edge” technology utilized by Aetna to assist members with the PHR. The technology locates information within a member’s PHR regarding medications, lab results, and health conditions and compares the information with current standards for medical care. The analysis (monitored by a team of doctors and other health professionals) indicates any drug interactions, unsafe lab results, or other health concerns with opportunity for improvement. These indications are then issued as an alert in the user’s PHR and may be communicated to the user’s doctor.

Users may enter information for their entire family and view each via pull-down menu.



Walk Me Through
The Walk Me Through Feature offers step-by-step guidance for completing any section of the record.
