SPINNphr
Pros: SPINNphr offers secure online PHR storage with Microsoft
HealthVault integration. It is focused on connecting healthcare providers
with patients.
Cons: SPINN is generally easy to use as a PHR. During review,
we were unable to test the new feature connecting with healthcare providers,
so it is uncertain how this particular feature works. Over broadband connection,
changing between feature screens was unusually slow.
The Bottomline: SPINNphr offers members a secure online
PHR integrated with Microsoft HealthVault. SPINNphr continues to be free
of charge.

Summary:
SPINNphr is an online PHR that uses
Microsoft HealthVault to securely store personal medical information. Most
members sign up through healthcare providers so that they may use integrated
electronic communications with their doctors. Users must have both a Windows
Live ID account and HealthVault Account to use SPINNPhr.

Features:
____________________________________________________________
Unique SPINN ID
Members receive a unique ID number to keep on a card, bracelet, or zipper
tag. This number allows first responders and emergency personnel to view
medical information identified by the users. The Emergency Notification
feature automatically sends a message to those noted as emergency contacts.
Easy-to-use Interface
Simple, fill-in-the-blank forms make completion easy.
Each section is similarly equipped with blanks to prompt complete information.
The only downside was the lag between screens. It took longer than it should
to switch from one section to the next.
Observations
This section provides areas to record and track weight, height, BP, heart
rate, blood sugar, and INR.
Tools
The tools area provides the ability to print a summary of the record, a
wallet card with emergency information, and a place to upload any documents
the user wants included in their files (up to 10 MB).
